Working with other local entities, and with additional financial support from the Paradox Prize/Fund for Our Economic Future, the City of Oberlin has contracted with Lorain County Transit to provide expanded transit service to Oberlin.  With additional funding from the American Rescue Plan, the City of Oberlin is able to continue to provide expanded transit service to the Oberlin community through 2023.


Transit Mask Mandate Update

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) no longer mandates wearing face masks on Lorain County Transit services as of April 19, 2022. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) still recommends wearing of face masks in indoor public transportation settings.
