Purpose/Duties

The boards’ primary responsibilities are establishing the mission and vision for the Oberlin Public Library, determining the policies that are implemented to govern the library, hiring and evaluating the director of the library, and overseeing the general management of the library to ensure that the local community is represented well and the public is informed regarding their local library. Meeting Times

The board meets the second Thursday of every month at 5 p.m. All board meetings are open to the public.
