Regular part-time employees are also entitled to certain benefits as stated in the City of Oberlin Employee Policy Manual. Benefits of employees covered under collective bargaining agreements may differ.
Paid Time Off:
- Sick leave is accrued in accordance with the number of hours worked
- Unlimited carry-over from year to year
- Each regular part-time employee who has completed 1 year of service shall be eligible for an annual paid vacation allowance on a prorated basis, (i.e. number of hours worked compared to 2080 hours).
- For 1st year regular part-time employees, 10 days will be prorated based on hours worked during the 1st year.
