Regular part-time employees are also entitled to certain benefits as stated in the City of Oberlin Employee Policy Manual.  Benefits of employees covered under collective bargaining agreements may differ.

Sick Time:

  • Sick leave is accrued in accordance with the number of hours worked
  • Unlimited carry-over from year to year

Vacation Days:

  • Each regular part-time employee who has completed 1 year of service shall be eligible for an annual paid vacation allowance on a prorated basis, (i.e. number of hours worked compared to 2080 hours).
  • For 1st year regular part-time employees, 10 days will be prorated based on hours worked during the 1st year.
