The purpose of the “Public Hearing” is to hear public comment on the following matter:

6:00 p.m. – A recommendation by the Oberlin Planning Commission for City Council to approve the draft of a new Zoning Code and Zoning Map for the City of Oberlin.  This new Zoning Code and Zoning Map were drafted in response to several strategies related to zoning in the City’s 2024 Comprehensive Plan and the Plan’s Future Land Use Map.

All persons interested in or affected by these matters will have the right and opportunity to be heard at the above-referenced “Public Hearing”.

Further information with respect to the proposed Zoning Code and Zoning Map may be obtained from the Planning and Development Department, 36 S. Prospect Street, Oberlin, Ohio, or the Office of the City Clerk, 85 South Main Street, Oberlin, Ohio, during normal business hours.  Copies of the proposed new Zoning Code and Map may also be found on the City’s website by scanning the QR code.
