NOTICE OF SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING

In accordance with the Ohio Sunshine Law, please take note that The Oberlin City Council will be holding a Special City Council Meeting on Monday July 13, 2015 at 6:00 p.m., in Council Chambers located at 85 S. Main St., Oberlin, Ohio.

The purpose of the special meeting is to adjourn into executive session to discuss pending litigation with the Law Director and the City Manager and others who may be invited by Council, Additional purposes of the special meeting are to consider an ordinance indicating what services the City would provide upon the annexation of property owned by the Lorain County Joint Vocational School District Board of Education pursuant to  an annexation petition filed by it with the Lorain County Board of Commissioners on June 24, 2015; to consider an ordinance requiring that in the event the property is annexed to the City of Oberlin, the owner of the property may be required to construct  a buffer under certain circumstances; to consider an ordinance objecting to the proposed annexation; and to consider an  ordinance approving a collective bargaining agreement between the City of Oberlin, Ohio, and the Ohio Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association for Oberlin Police Department fulltime dispatchers.”
